- Abstract
This research was done to determine the effect of increasing potassium fertiliser applications on some macro- and micronutrient element contents of rocket (Eruca vesicaria subsp. sativa (Mill.)) plant. For this purpose a pot experiment was done with three replications in unheated greenhouse conditions, Namik Kemal University. Four potassium doses (as KNO3 form) (I dose: 0 mg kg–1, II dose: 50 mg kg–1, III dose: 100 mg kg–1 and IV dose: 150 mg kg–1) were applied to rocket (Eruca vesicaria subsp. sativa (Mill.)) plant. Rocket plants were harvested 30 day after planting. Some macro- and micronutrient elements (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn) contents of plants were determined. According to the results, the increasing doses of potassium nitrate practices provide the increases of rocket plant some macro- and micronutrient element contents. These increases have been considered important at the level of 5% statistically and relatively IV dose application (150 mg kg–1) caused an increase in macro- and micronutrient elements.
