- Abstract
This article presents a study, which determined whether there were significant age and sex difference in behavioral action tendencies as measured by the projective Hand Test. The Hand Test was administered to 80 kindergarten children and 90 second-grade-age-level children. Results indicated that a number of significant Age, Sex and Age x Significant interactions were obtained on the Hand Test. The findings suggest that many responses considered to be indicators of disturbance or pathology in adults occur normally with children.
