- Abstract
An interview with Richard Olson, an Ambassador to Pakistan for the U.S. Department of State, is presented. Olson talks about the impact of political transition in strengthening the democracy and confidence in the country, the leadership effectiveness of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in terms of economic development and enhancing the regional trade partnerships, and the openness of the Pakistan's Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) on talks related to extremism in India.
