- Abstract
A letter describing the case of a man who developed acute hydrops in the host cornea after penetrating keratoplasty (PKP) for keratoconus is presented. PKP was done to treat acute hydrops oculus dexter (OD) in 2003 and again in 2005, because of hard contact lens (HCL) intolerance due to an exacerbation of the keratoconus oculus uterque (OU). An anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) revealed a localized detachment of Descemet's membrane of the host cornea which ended at the host-graft junction.
