- Abstract
The article discusses the case of a 54-year-old man diagnosed with Fuchs' heterochromic iridocyclitis (FHI) associated with ocular toxocariasis. The patient was diagnosed with FHI based on the diagnostic criteria, while the serology enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay showed an elevated titer of anti-Toxocara canis larva antibody. It suggests that FHI can develop resulting from immune reaction to infections including ocular toxocariasis, and of the role of ocular toxocariasis in the onset of FHI.
