- Title
LA DIPSIQUÍA Y LA VIDA ESPIRITUAL EN EL PASTOR DE HERMAS.
- Authors
ROBINSON, DAVID CHARLES
- Abstract
According to "The Shepherd of Hermas," dipsiquía is a spirit from the devil that attacks the baptized, creating in them a weak inner life of discord and of doubt that generates a variety of spiritual vices and illnesses such as sloth. Dipsiquía leaves a person spiritually disabled, accustomed to failure, frustrated in prayer, concerned with the mundane, and anxious of the future. The only remedy to this state is an interior conversion rooted in faith that is directed to cultivate simplicity, virtues, and the Christian life following the commandments.
