- Abstract
This article provides information on research about the labor market in the U.S. Researchers are analyzing various issues and factors related to labor market such as effects of a computer-based occupational information system on career choices among high school seniors in eight states and the occupational mobility of scientists, engineers and technicians through the use of the National Science Foundation-Bureau of the Census. Using data from the Current Population Survey, researcher Robert Aronson is developing comparisons of the self-employed and other labor-force participants.
