- Abstract
The article is focusing on the issue of information security management based on the defined standard user behaviour which is one of the examples of the application of multi-agent systems in practice. The aim of this work is to assess, analyse, and define the conditions that organizations must meet so that these systems can function effectively and their implementation can pay off for the organizations. Surveys indicate the growing interest of companies on the use of data loss prevention (DLP) systems in order to ensure the required level of safety. Some of these systems are also equipped with a module for assessing user behaviour in relation to the assessment of IT security. The scientific methods used in the paper are primarily analysis (requirements resulting from standards and laws, features of DLP systems which are currently in the market and analysis of organization including way of working, hierarchy and process maturity) and then synthesis as well as statistical methods. Defined assumptions were verified by the author in practice when implementing just one of these tools in an organization with over 1,000 employees.
