- Abstract
Because the antenna of traditional aircraft ̓s Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS)protrudes from the surface of the aircraft,it has a certain influence on the antenna layout and aerodynamics of the aircraft,and the monitoring distance is relatively short. Through a forward TCAS based on phased array antenna, the conformal design of aircraft wing and other structures is comprehensively utilized,which can be shared with the functional antenna in the same frequency band of the aircraft,thus reducing the pressure of antenna layout and its aerodynamic influence on the aircraft. At the same time, monopulse angle measurement with sum-difference beam forming is used for its excellent performance in high precision of angle measurement, compared with traditional way of double-channel amplitude / phase ratio,the angle measurement accuracy of the system to the target can be greatly improved, and the performance of TCAS can be effectively improved.
