- Abstract
This article aims to discuss the post-pandemic educational scenario in the municipality of Pelotas, a city in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. The discussions held are based on the assumption that a neoliberal governmentality works in our society that homogenizes students based on a set of curricular skills and also based on meritocratic notions that would favor a culture of school failure. Through Resolution CME/Pel n. 03/2021, defined by the Municipal Department of Education, it is possible to think about the implementation of a curriculum continuum and other educational strategies that go beyond student failure. Such discussions bring significant learning to schools and teachers, and can be transposed beyond the exceptional context of the years 2020, 2021 and 2022.
