- Abstract
The article describes a case of fulminant diabetes induced by nivolumab, a programmed death 1 (PD-1) inhibitor, with a bihormonal pancreatic failure and a reduction of exocrine pancreatic function with acute pancreas atrophy in a white male with advanced pulmonary pleomorphic carcinoma. Topics include findings on computed tomography scans, information on nivolumab, and the need to further understand the underlying mechanisms of this fulminant form of nivolumab-induced diabetes.
