- Abstract
The article discusses the skills and competencies needed by a specialist in haemostasis and thrombosis starting from the basic requirements of the European Hematology Association (EHA) haematology curriculum. It aims to improve the quality of patient care and develop the levels of competence ranging from awareness to competence. It is intended to promote harmonization of the training and competency, both clinical and practical, required by specialists in this area within the European Community.
