- Abstract
The article details historic sources, books by and about 17th-century French philosopher Blaise Pascal. It discusses the posthumous editorship of his sister Gilberte Périer and her Jansenist beliefs creating a bias of his neo-Augustinian theology, the scrapbook of Pascal's notes created by his nephew Louis Périer, and 19th-century editions of Pascal edited by Léon Brunschvicg. Contemporary scholarship about Pascal by scholars including Louis Cognet, Gérard Ferreyrolles, and Pierre Kuentz is considered.
