- Abstract
The authors reflects on the article "Heart Failure Enhance Arrhythmogenesis in Pulmonary Veins," by Shih-Lin Change and colleagues. The study examined the involvement of the pulmonary vein myocardium in atrial arrythmogenesis in heart failure and found that the pulmonary vein myocardium is more prone to the onset of arrhythmias than the left atrium in rabbits with heart failure. Information on atrial fibrillation (AF) and heart failure is provided.
