- Abstract
Hodgkin's lymphoma is the second most common primary malignancy occurring in the head and neck region during early adulthood.The malignancy is considered to be a highly curable. It is one of the few adult malignancies that usually present as a painless but progressive enlargement of affected (peripheral) lymph nodes. The present case was diagnosed by oral and maxillofacial pathologist(s), following to the biopsy received from Institutional dental clinic for an unusual type of neck swelling. This article will describe a classic case of Hodgkin's Lymphoma (mixed cellularity type) of a 19-year old male. The case was treated by both radio- and chemo-therapy. The case was observed for a five year follow up that showed good prognosis.
