- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the effectiveness of a computerized and automated growth monitoring (AGM) strategy integrated into an electronic health record (EHR) system in the primary care setting. It shows that screening of growth disorders using algorithms integrated into an EHR system was associated with a high rate of detection. The study concluded that the AGM strategy would result in a better diagnostic yield and facilitate earlier diagnosis of growth disorders.
