In this article, the author focuses on the importance of youth media programs and her association with the Children's Express Indianapolis bureau that has changed its name to Y-Press. Topics discussed include learning about leadership, conducting interviews and critical thinking at Y-Press; her trip to Havana in Cuba that helped her change stereotypes about Cuba and the programs ensuring that youth voices are heard. Other topics include the nonprofit Digital Democracy and global citizens.
