- Abstract
The article discusses an experiment which examined the phase equilibrium properties of supercritical carbon dioxide/poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) binary system. Results of the study showed that increasing pressure and carbon dioxide density at a constant pressure increased the carbon dioxide solubility in PET. However, increasing the temperature at a constant pressure decreased the solubility of carbon dioxide.
