- Abstract
The article presents a study on the manufacturing of a polarizing film with poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) iodinated at solution before casting (IBC) film. The study uses ultraviolet (UV)-visible spectrometry to investigate the transmittance and degree of polarization (ρ) of the films. Results show higher resistance of the heat and humidity of IBC polarizing films compared to commercial polarizing films and effect of boric acid in strengthening the resistance of heat and humidity.
