The article focuses on promise of fair play and substantial justice in personal jurisdiction doctrine. It mentions Supreme Court is now caught up in this new focus which consider its 2017 decision in Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. v. Superior Court and its 2021 effort in Ford Motor Co. v. Montana Eighth Judicial District Court. It also mentions specific jurisdiction by appealing to considerations of the "fair play and substantial justice" prong of International Shoe Co. v. Washington.
