- Abstract
The article discusses the balance between food production and climate change. It mentions issues raised during the 2015 British Veterinary Association (BVA) Congress which include the role of the food system, from production to consumption, to climate change emissions, ways to address climate change in terms of food production systems including reduced emissions in livestock rearing and the rebalance of socioeconomics, and the involvement of veterinarians in improving production systems.
