- Title
Applying the Technology Lessons of Legal Research to Litigation Practice: Just-in-Time Learning for Young Litigators.
- Authors
Asay, Alma
- Abstract
This Article considers if and how law students and new attorneys are being properly trained to be effective litigators. Technology and the growth of information has changed not only the contours of traditional litigation practice, but also the way that new lawyers should learn and practice. Just as Lexis and Westlaw came onto the scene in the 1970s and 1980s to provide a more effective means for learning to conduct and access legal research, new tools are coming onto the scene today to provide a more effective means for learning to conduct other aspects of litigation and access internal case materials critical to winning a matter.
