The article offers advice for attorneys concerning the most effective ways to deliver a closing argument during a trial. It recommends that attorneys begin preparing a closing argument upon first receiving a case, writing and delivering a closing argument in a conversational tone and without legal jargon, and utilizing audio and visual aids when available. The article also discusses addressing claims and legal standards, restating the theory of a case, and appealing to jurors.
