- Abstract
This article discusses a surgical navigation system that helps surgeons locate vanished colorectal liver metastases (CRLMs) during surgery. These vanished lesions can be difficult to find, but the navigation system uses a 3D model of the liver to assist in their localization. The study found that the system was effective in treating the vanished lesions, with low recurrence rates. The article also references two studies published in medical journals that provide further insights into the use of advanced imaging techniques in detecting liver metastases for the treatment of colorectal cancer.
