- Abstract
The article presents a study of English poet William Blake's "Songs of Innocence." It examines the perception of syntactic deviations in poetry by analyzing the position of adjective in Blake's stylistic deviations and how it is syntactically different from Complex Transitive Verbal Constructions. It also enumerates data taken from the collection of poems by Blake.
