- Abstract
The article attempts to interpret the novel "The God of Small Things," by Arundhati Roy, through her non-fiction works. Among her non-fiction works are "The Algebra of Infinite Justice," "Power Politics" and "War Talk." Nuclear weapons policies of India as well as its approach to industrialization and rapid development are being criticized by the author in her non-fiction. Roy is also noted to reprobate increasing religious fundamentalism in the country.
