The article features the significance of Tulare lake basin to the Californian aborigines. According to the author, the said basin has been recognized by anthropologists for its previous capability to back up unusual crowded population of California aborigines, called the Yokuts. Moreover, the Tulare basin has offered richness of resources for its Hispanic dwellers in state.
