Title
Flattery and Denigration from Abroad.
Abstract
The article discusses the praises and derogation on Poles in the twentieth century. The author cited American writer Louis E. Van Norman, who in his book "Poland: The Knight Among Nations," complimented the Poles for their achievements. The author believed that Van Norman's book was free of biases and blind spots. However, the author criticized the political system in Poland because the politicians in the country tend to neglect the image of Polish politics they have created.
