- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the issue concerning the failure of the Argentinean government to protect the assets of American financial services provider Continental Casualty Co. during the 2001 financial crisis. She states that international arbitral tribunal has accused the government of failure to provide equal treatment to American investors including Continental Casualty. She concludes that identifying doctrine of the international investment law is important to future investment.
