- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the actual meaning of Gospel in William Shakespeare's famous English Drama Romeo and Juliet. He states that this drama has full of hidden gospel terms and metaphors which will attract anyone on the terms of spiritual and pious enactment. He further states that this drama has many genres such as action, suspense, comedy and romance. Its main plot is very much intensified by its sub relative plots which have caused shock, relief and despair.
