An essay is presented on the efforts to improve the prosecution of sexual assault lawsuits in America, focusing on whether the U.S. Department of Justice's (DOJ's) Civil Rights Division can use Section 14141 of the U.S. Code to investigate prosecutors' offices in America for potential civil rights violations. Jurisdiction in America and various U.S. statutes are addressed, along with a DOJ investigation involving the Missoula County, Montana Attorney’s Office and lawyer Fred Van Valkenburg.
