- Abstract
Compression by this ligament is exceedingly rare I could find only three patients in three reports considered to have the ulnar nerve compressed by Struthers' ligament or arcade ([5]; [6]; [8]). The ligament of Struthers and its relationships to a rudimentary supracondylar process, the median nerve, the ulnar nerve and the medial epicondyle of the humerus are documented in anatomical studies. The exception was that one surgeon found a ligament of Struthers with a bony process compressing the ulnar nerve above the elbow, but no structures compressed the nerve in the cubital tunnel.
