- Abstract
The article examines the study on the tooth lead levels of the children in Miskolc, Hungary. Initially, the lead levels have been determined through several teeth that have been extracted from children aged four to sixteen years. The whole tooth has been soaked overnight in a ten percent solution of hydrogen peroxide and was rinsed with distilled water. The measurements were made with an atomic absorption spectrometry system that consist of a Varian Spectra 300 P spectrometer. It has been found that the lead content in the teeth has been changed between 1 micro gram/gram and 42 micro gram/gram tooth tissue.
