- Abstract
The article presents the author's view on the importance of poem reader's criticism of a poem to encourage self-conscious and to create a cultural utterance. It mentions the role of static quality in the identity of the poet considering the race of an aesthetic property. Also included are the factors for criticizing poems including the poem's impediments, theme and theorists of African American poets.
