- Abstract
The revitalization oi teaeher edueation is an important measure lor the eonstruetion oi teaehing body in the new era. It is not only an important practical action, hut also a major theoretical issue. It is necessary lor us to solve the specific problems at the operational level, and trace the source and lace the ontological problems as well. The significance oi the discourse transformation from “pedagogical edueation” to “teaeher edueation” , the original meaning oi teaehing profession and professionalism, the “concept oi teaeher” in Chinese and Western cultures, the practical essentials oi teacher’s proiessional development, the discipline oi teaeher edueation and the direction and goal that need to make eiiorts ought to be elariiied respectively. Only in this process oi exploring the origin oi teaeher edueation, can we remain true to the original aspiration and elariiy the starting point and acting point. It is a more original and ontological research topic to learn from and absorb international advanced ideas and thoughts, integrate Chinese excellent tradition oi the principles a teaeher abides by teaeher culture with them, and explore the practical experience and knowledge system oi teacher education with local characteristics in the process oi the revitalization oi teacher education.
