The article presents a case study of a 16-year-old female suffering from Gilles de la Tourette's Syndrome (TS). The patient underwent deep brain stimulation (DBS) of her medial thalamus which led to impressive amelioration in motor and phonic tics. She also experienced exacerbation of tics induced by Twiddler's syndrome.
