The article explores on the history of the establishment of the Cornell School for Horseshoers which provide classes for the scientific instruction for farriers to improve shoeing services in New York. It highlights the importance of knowledge to the practice of veterinary medicine to improve animal health. It also cites the availability of lectures and demonstrations for the horseshoers.
