- Abstract
The article focuses on various aspects related to the financing of accounts receivables and inventory by business enterprises in the U.S. It mentions the concept of factoring that has been used by businesses for financing and informs about three different types of states laws in the U.S. that govern legal validity of accounts receivable financing, which include the validation, recordation, and bookmarking statues. It discusses original evaluation and supervision of collateral as factors influencing the security for accounts-receivable loan and informs about warehouse receipts as a means for inventory financing. It informs about the increasing use of factor's lien, a new method being used for inventory loans.
