- Title
DISPOSAL OF CONTRACTOR-OWNED PROPERTY ON TERMINATION.
- Authors
CHRISTOFFER, FORTON A.
- Abstract
The article discusses disposal of contractor-owned property, following the second World War's contract terminations in the U.S. It is stated that the prompt clearance of property from contractors' plants is recommended in the Office of War Mobilization's, report on War and post-War Adjustment Policies, released on February 15, 1944. It is mentioned that the prime contractor is obligated to assist in the disposition of property under both the uniform and the old Standard Termination Articles. It is noted that payment of the termination settlement can be made under both the storage agreement and the delivery of shipment.
