The article offers information on the impact of the U.S. Securities Act of 1933 on the institutional investors in the U.S. It mentions that institutional investor consists of insurance companies and banks. It offers information on several tasks that are advantageous to institutions which includes, defining trustees functions and elimination of racketeers from protective committee. It states that many corporations have avoided the registration of securities under the Act due to excessive costs and internal reasons.
