- Title
Discussion of 'Simulating Nonresidential Water Demand with a Stochastic End-Use Model' by E. J. M. Blokker, E. J. Pieterse-Quirijns, J. H. G. Vreeburg, and J. C. van Dijk.

- Abstract
The authors discuss the use of SIMDEUM stochastic modeling of water demand in hotels, in response to an article by E. J. M. Blokker, E. J. Pieterse-Quirijns, J. H. G. Vreeburg and J. C. Dijk about the use of the model in non-residential water demand published in this journal. The average cumulative density function (CDF) of water consumption in hotel rooms was analyzed by the authors. Blokker et al. failed to consider all parameters in the model because of the use of too many variables.
