- Title
COMMENTS AND CRITICISM SOME NEGLECTED POSSIBILITIES: A REPLY TO TEITEL.
- Authors
JACOBS, CASPAR
- Abstract
The article focuses on responding to the challenges posed by the Hole Argument against spacetime substantivalism, exploring metric essentialism and sophisticated substantivalism as popular responses. It critiques Trevor Teitel's recent criticisms of these positions and suggests that David Lewis's modal realism offers a way to evade Teitel's challenges by redefining the conception of possibilities and individuals within them.
