The article discusses the importance of interdisciplinary and pluralistic understanding required for promoting study, research, and publication related to aesthetics. Topics discussed include goal of publishing research related to philosophical conversation in aesthetics and the philosophy of art; challenges involved due to long-standing institutional practices; and advices of several constituencies offered by American Society for Aesthetics for publishing symposia and special issues.
