- Abstract
The article proposes the U.S. state of Georgia to follow the domestic violence laws of the United Kingdom (UK) to deter innovative abuses of technology, particularly the use of global positioning system (GPS) tracking devices. Topics discussed include America notions of privacy, differences in notions of privacy between Georgia and UK, excessive specific intent required in Georgia privacy and domestic abuse laws, extended judicial deference and legislative action in UK.
