- Abstract
The present study sought to know the strategies used by physical education teachers to generate a positive pedagogical bond with their students. For this purpose, a mixed study was carried out with a sample of 60 teachers, between 24 and 55 years old (M=33.05 years) and teaching experience between one year and 28 years. The results of the quantitative stage show the predominance of strategies aimed at promoting interaction among students and between students and teachers, over strategies based on the teacher's social skills and didactic strategies. The results report shows that teachers had an instrumental conception of the bond as a facilitator of learning rather than considering it as a means of integral development of teachers and students. There were tensions in the conception of the role of contact and the relationship limits between teachers and students. It is concluded that the strategies used were not intentional and arose spontaneously from the different pedagogical situations, requiring their approach in the training process of future teachers.
