- Abstract
In the article "A Hierarchical Polyoxometalate/Pd/MoS2 Hybrid: Developing an Efficient Novel Bifunctional Catalyst for Water Splitting," Alicia Forment‐Aliaga, Maria del Carmen Gimenez‐Lopez, and their colleagues present a new approach to developing electrocatalysts for water splitting. The researchers have created a novel POM/Pd/MoS2 heterostructure with hierarchical growth. This structure combines POM polymerization into fibers, triggered by Pd nanoparticles, with MoS2 sheets that enhance charge storage, resulting in a bifunctional catalyst. This development has the potential to contribute to sustainable hydrogen and oxygen production, which is important for clean hydrogen production.
