GLO:ETZ/01jul21:dth15002-fig-0001.jpg PHOTO (COLOR): 1 (A-D) Multiple inflamed, firm, pinkish nodules and abscesses, sinus tracts with malodorous discharge, and hypertrophic scars on the axillary and inguinal regions prior to canakinumab treatment. In conclusion, our observation point that canakinumab may exert as a potentially effective therapy for severe and refractory patients with HS, as demonstrated by an improvement in both DLQI score and HS-PGA score in our patient. Dermatological examination disclosed multiple inflamed, firm, pinkish nodules and abscesses, sinus tracts with malodorous discharge, and hypertrophic scars on the mons pubis, and axillary, inguinal, perianal regions.
