- Abstract
Dear Editor, Pityriasis lichenoides is a spectrum of inflammatory skin diseases, composed of pityriasis lichenoides chronica (PLC) and pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta (PLEVA) as the main variants, with intermediate forms. Clinical improvement was presented without recurrence on follow-up 4 months later.[1] A 13-year-old patient with symptoms of both PLEVA and PLC, published by Ogrum et al, underwent treatment with azithromycin as first therapy (500 mg/day for 3 consecutive days every 2 weeks).
