- Abstract
The deep changes of the labor market and the deindustrialisation affect for many years the working world. While many factors tend to stop the potential community protest of the "working class", the reverse process will be analyzed here. Using a mixed method, combining secondary analysis of data from INSEE and interviews with industrial workers, we studied the processes at work in five factories of greater Poitiers. In addition to the local factors - namely the very low population working in the area - the evolution of the labor market and the introduction of managerial norms gradually led to the disintegration of collective labor, especially for workers in the industry.
