- Abstract
The article discusses ethical challenges faced by low- and middle-income countries that may benefit from the implementation of artificial intelligence. Topics include the importance of addressing ethical issues on informed consent, ethical concerns that may arise due to the accessibility of artificial intelligence technology for neglected tropical disease diagnoses, and the potential of image-based artificial intelligence to diagnose neglected tropical diseases to transform health care.
